Knowing where to look and what to prioritize can save your expedition from an early, untimely end.
The most common scenario for emergency resource collection is when you're low on fuel or repair materials. After surviving a particularly harsh anomaly, your car might be damaged, and your fuel gauge perilously close to empty. In such situations, you need to act fast. Scan your immediate surroundings for any salvageable wrecks or resource nodes that might have been exposed or made accessible by the anomaly.
Look for common materials like scrap metal, plastic, and rubber. These are often found in abundance on wrecked vehicles and discarded debris. Even a small amount can be enough to craft a crucial repair kit or a small fuel canister. Don't overlook smaller resource nodes; sometimes, a handful of scattered components can add up.
If you're in immediate need of fuel, prioritize finding fuel canisters. These are often found in abandoned vehicles, gas stations, or sometimes dropped by specific anomalies. If you have the Blowtorch equipped, you can also attempt to siphon fuel from intact, abandoned vehicles, though this is a riskier endeavor and may attract unwanted attention.
