Automating and optimizing resource gathering is key to late-game progression. Setting up specialized bases and using the right Pals can turn resource scarcity into abundance.
Strategies:
- Dedicated Mining Base: Establish a second (or third) base in an area rich with Ore, Coal, or Pure Quartz. Assign Pals with high Mining suitability (e.g., Digtoise, Reptyro, Astegon) and Transporting Pals (e.g., Wumpo, Helzephyr) to this base. Ensure they have enough beds and food.
- Logging Site & Stone Pit: Build these structures at your main base and assign Pals with high Logging (e.g., Bushi, Wumpo) and Mining (e.g., Depresso, Digtoise) to continuously gather Wood and Stone.
- Pal Drops: Identify which Pals drop essential materials (e.g., Flame Organs from Foxparks, High-Quality Pal Oil from Mammorest/Relaxaurus). Set up a small farm or hunting route for these Pals.
- Breeding for Resources: Some Pals, like Chikipi, lay eggs in a Ranch. Others, like Woolipop, produce Cotton Candy. Assign these Pals to a Ranch for passive food and material generation.
Regularly check your resource bases and transport materials back to your main crafting hub.
