Pal Gear is specific equipment crafted at the Pal Gear Workbench that unlocks a Pal's Partner Skill. This often allows you to ride the Pal as a mount, or utilize a unique ability in combat or exploration.
Examples of Pal Gear:
- Saddles: Rushoar Saddle, Direhowl Saddle, Nitewing Saddle, Vanwyrm Saddle, Jetragon Saddle. Allows you to ride the respective Pal.
- Harnesses/Gloves: Foxparks' Harness (allows it to be used as a flamethrower), Lifmunk's Submachine Gun (allows it to wield a gun), Daedream's Necklace (allows it to follow and attack automatically).
- Mining/Logging Gear: Digtoise's Headband (enhances its mining ability), Eikthyrdeer's Saddle (enhances its logging ability).
Strategy:
Prioritize crafting saddles for fast ground and flying mounts early on to greatly improve exploration. Craft gear for your combat Pals to unlock their full potential. Some gear, like Digtoise's Headband, can significantly boost base work efficiency.
