World 2-4: Damp Oasis

Welcome to the Damp Oasis, a deceptively tranquil area that holds the next Royal Sticker. This stage introduces new environmental puzzles and enemies, so be prepared!

Initial Exploration and Sticker Acquisition

• Upon entering, head right. You'll immediately notice a large, parched area.
• Continue right past the first set of palm trees. You'll encounter a few Pokey enemies. These can be tricky; use Jump stickers for their segmented bodies, or a well-timed Hammer sticker for a direct hit.
• Just before the large, dry lakebed, you'll see a small alcove to the north. Head into it to find a hidden Shiny Jump sticker.
• Proceed to the center of the dry lakebed. You'll spot a prominent cracked section on the ground.

The Oasis Puzzle: Restoring the Water

The main objective here is to bring water back to the oasis. This involves a bit of Paperizing and strategic sticker use.

1. Locate the Water Spout: To the far right of the dry lakebed, you'll see a small, almost invisible outline of a water spout. This is your target.
2. Paperize the Spout: Use your Paperize ability (X button) to peel back the background layer. You'll reveal a clear outline for a Thing Sticker.
3. The Faucet Thing: You'll need the Faucet Thing Sticker for this. If you don't have it, you can find it in World 1-3: Loop Loop River, specifically in the area with the rotating platforms. Alternatively, you might find one in the Sticker Shop in Decalburg if you're lucky.
4. Apply the Faucet: Place the Faucet Thing Sticker onto the outlined area. This will cause water to gush forth, filling the oasis!

Post-Oasis Filling Exploration

With the oasis now filled, new paths and items become accessible.

• Swim to the Left: Jump into the newly formed pool and swim to the left side. You'll find a small island with a Coin Block. Hit it for some extra coins.
• Hidden Sticker: On the far left bank, near a small rock formation, use your Paperize ability again. You should be able to peel off a section of the wall to reveal a hidden Line Jump sticker.
• The Bridge Segment: Now, swim to the right side of the oasis. You'll notice a gap in the path leading further right. There's a missing bridge segment.
• Paperize for the Bridge: Use Paperize on the gap. This will reveal the outline for the Bridge Thing Sticker. This Thing can be found in World 1-4: Goomba Fort, after defeating the Mega Goomba and heading to the rightmost section.
• Place the Bridge: Apply the Bridge Thing Sticker to complete the path.

Advancing to the Next Area

Cross the newly formed bridge. You'll enter a new section of the oasis.

• Enemy Encounter: Be wary of Shy Guys and potentially a Spiny in this area. Prioritize defeating the Spiny with Hammer stickers or multi-hit Jump stickers if you have them.
• Sticker Comet Piece: Continue right. You'll soon come across the Sticker Comet Piece for this stage, located on a small elevated platform. Jump to collect it.
• Exit to the World Map: After collecting the Comet Piece, head to the far right of the screen to exit the stage and return to the World Map.

Congratulations! You've successfully navigated the Damp Oasis and secured another Sticker Comet Piece. restock on your favorite stickers before heading to the next challenging stage!
