World 3-12: Bowser's Snow Fort
Welcome to Bowser's Snow Fort, the final icy challenge of World 3! This level is a straightforward gauntlet leading to the third Royal Sticker. Be prepared for a series of battles and a mini-boss encounter. Ensure your sticker album is well-stocked with powerful attack stickers and a few healing options.
Fort Entrance and First Gauntlet

Initial Path: From the start, head right. You'll immediately encounter a few
Shy Guys
andSledge Bros.
patrolling the path. Engage them carefully;Sledge Bros.
can hit hard, so consider using Jump stickers or aHammer
to flip them. -
Hidden Block: Before entering the main fort structure, jump around the top-right corner of the first snowdrift you encounter. A hidden block here contains a
Shiny Jump
sticker. -
First Fort Room: Proceed into the fort. The first room is a long corridor with several
Ice Bros.
andSnifits
.Ice Bros.
can freeze Mario, so prioritize them. A well-timedFire Flower
sticker can clear multiple enemies here. -
Sticker Opportunity: On the left wall of this corridor, look for a slightly discolored section. Paperize here to reveal a
Super Hammer
sticker.
Mid-Fort Ascent

Stairwell Ambush: As you ascend the first set of stairs, a
Hammer Bro
will drop down from above. These enemies are tough; use your strongestJump
stickers or aPOW Block
if you have one. -
Coin Block Alley: At the top of the stairs, you'll find a small ledge with three visible coin blocks. Hit them all for some extra coins. Be wary, as a
Spiny
often patrols this narrow path. -
Second Fort Room: This room features a series of moving platforms over a bottomless pit. Time your jumps carefully. There are also a few
Paratroopas
flying around; you can often avoid them or knock them down with a well-aimed jump. -
Secret Panel: Near the end of the moving platform section, look for a small alcove on the upper wall. Jump to reveal a hidden panel containing a
Leaf
sticker.
Mini-Boss: Giant Ice Bro
As you reach the highest point of the fort, a
Giant Ice Bro
will confront you. This is a formidable foe, so ensure your battle deck is ready.-
Attacks: The
Giant Ice Bro
has two main attacks: a powerful ice hammer swing that hits all of Mario's HP, and an ice breath attack that can freeze Mario, making him lose a turn. -
Strategy:

, dealing significant damage and preventing him from freezing you. Use them liberally. - Strong Jumps:
