World 3-5: Whammino Mountain

Welcome to Whammino Mountain! This stage introduces some tricky platforming and a new enemy type. Be prepared with some strong jump stickers for the upcoming battles.

Initial Ascent

1. Upon entering, head right. You'll encounter a new enemy: a Buzzy Beetle. These foes have high defense, so opt for jump stickers to flip them over and deal damage.
2. Continue right past the Buzzy Beetle. You'll see a large, flat rock. Use your Paperization ability here to peel back the rock, revealing a hidden path.
3. Follow the newly revealed path upwards. You'll find a Question Mark Block containing a Shiny Jump Sticker.
4. Proceed further right. You'll reach a section with several small, moving platforms. Carefully time your jumps to cross them.
5. After the platforms, you'll spot a Coin Block floating above. Jump to hit it for some extra coins.

The Rolling Rocks Puzzle

This next section involves a small puzzle with rolling rocks. Timing is key!

1. As you move right, you'll see a large Rolling Rock blocking your path. Do not approach it directly.
2. Instead, look for a small, elevated ledge to your left. Jump onto it.
3. From this ledge, you'll see a Sticker Comet embedded in the wall. Hit it with your hammer to dislodge it. This will cause the Rolling Rock to move.
4. Quickly drop down and run to the right, following behind the Rolling Rock as it clears the path. Be careful not to get crushed!
5. Once the path is clear, continue right. You'll find another Question Mark Block containing a Hammer Sticker.

Reaching the Summit

1. Further along, you'll encounter a series of steep ledges. Use your jump ability to ascend them. Watch out for any lurking Buzzy Beetles.
2. Near the top, there's a hidden block. Jump around the area to the left of the final ascent to reveal a Hidden Block containing a Leaf Sticker.
3. Finally, you'll reach the summit of Whammino Mountain. The Comet Sticker for this stage is located here. Collect it to complete World 3-5.

Optional Collectibles & Tips

• Secret Door: Keep an eye out for a faint outline of a door on a wall near the rolling rock section. If you have the Secret Door Sticker (found in World 3-1), you can use it here to access a bonus area with extra coins and stickers.
• Thing Sticker: There is no specific "Thing" sticker to collect within this level itself, but ensure you have a good variety of attack stickers, especially jumps, for the Buzzy Beetles.
• Battle Strategy: For Buzzy Beetles, always prioritize jump attacks to flip them over. Once flipped, they take significantly more damage from any attack.
