Doopliss is a shapeshifting boss who can steal Mario's identity. In his first phase, he attacks with various moves. After a certain amount of damage, he will steal Mario's name, making Mario unable to attack. You must then use your partners to attack him until he reveals his true name. Once his name is revealed, you must input it correctly to regain Mario's abilities. After this, he becomes vulnerable. Vivian's Fiery Jinx is effective, and Bobbery's Bomb can deal good damage. Focus all your attacks once Mario is back in action. Guarding is important throughout the fight.
