Upon disembarking in Rogueport, head right to the main plaza. You'll soon encounter Goombella, who will join your party after a brief encounter with a couple of Goombas. Use Goombella's Tattle ability (Y Button in the field) to learn about NPCs and environmental details. Explore the various shops and talk to the townspeople to gather information. The item shop is to the left of the main plaza, and the badge shop is further left. check the inn for a free rest. Your primary goal is to find the entrance to the sewers, which is initially hidden. Look for a large grate in the ground near the central fountain.
