Achievement Hunting Guide

Master achievement hunting in Party Club by understanding capacity discrepancies, contractual overstatements, and patron misinformation.

Achievement Hunting Guide

To successfully hunt achievements, players must navigate the club's stated capacities versus actual limits. This involves understanding how club owners communicated capacity to booking agents, bands, and patrons, often leading to discrepancies.

  • Capacity Discrepancies: The club's legal occupancy was 404 (with all tables removed). However, the 2003 Talent Buyers’ Directory listed The Station’s capacity as 550, with Michael Derderian as the booking contact.
  • Contractual Overstatements:
    • Great White (April 2000): Contract stated a capacity of 500.
    • Warrant (April 2000): Contract stated a capacity of 500.
    • Poundhound (May 2001): Contract stated a capacity of 550.
    • Anthrax (October 2001): Agreement stated a capacity of 550.
    • Eddie Money (2002): Promised a club with room for 550.
    • Dead Kennedys (2002): Promised a club with room for 550.
    • Quiet Riot (2002): Promised a club with room for 550.
  • Patron Misinformation: Frank Canillas was told by the club that 100 business cards (tickets) would be available at the door, the last show drew 480 fans, and the club “fit about 600 people.”
  • Noise Complaints: Barry Warner, whose house was about one hundred feet from the stage door, frequently called police due to noise. He and his wife also wrote letters to the town council and vocally opposed the transfer of liquor and entertainment licenses to the Derderians due to noise and parking issues.
