The main walkthrough of Party Club immerses players in a narrative centered around a significant event, often viewed through the lens of media investigation. Players will experience the immediate aftermath, piecing together clues and observing the challenges faced by reporters and investigators at the scene.

Your journey begins in West Warwick, where you'll encounter the aftermath of a nightclub incident. You'll observe the scene from a distance, much like CNN's Whitney Casey, who arrived from a Manhattan nightclub to a very different scene. The initial phase involves:

Initial Observation: Witnessing the burnt-out rubble and the presence of TV crews. Note the "sickening burnt-flesh smell" and the "biting wind."
Remote Investigation: Utilizing the capabilities of TV "live" trucks, specifically their telescoping communication masts, to peer down upon "restricted access" scenes. This allows for observation of blue-gloved fire investigators.
Clue Gathering (Visual): From a distance, you'll see investigators combing through what appears to be "indistinguishable ashes." Had closer access or higher resolution been available, you would have observed:
- Techs bagging and labeling victims’ personal effects and body parts.
- A glove containing hand bones.
- A section of scalp, with hair attached.
- Over by the stage, several charred cardboard tubes for pyrotechnic “gerbs” (heavy-duty sparklers).
- A homemade stand for positioning the "gerbs."

These discoveries are crucial for beginning to answer critical questions that arise from the incident, such as: "Why did the fire spread so fast?" "What was flammable packing foam doing on the walls of a nightclub?" and "How could any thinking person ignite giant sparklers in that firetrap?"
