The Skill Gem System: A New Evolution

The iconic Skill Gem system has undergone a significant overhaul, offering unprecedented flexibility and depth in character customization. No longer are support gems socketed directly into your active skill gems. Instead, each active skill gem now has its own dedicated 6-link socket tree directly on the gem itself.

New Ascendancy Trials: Accessing your Ascendancy class still requires completing challenging Ascendancy Trials found within the Labyrinth. These trials are now more varied and integrated into the world.
Distinctive Playstyles: Each Ascendancy class offers a unique flavor. For example, a Warrior might ascend into a Champion, focusing on Fortify and taunting enemies, or a Berserker, embracing rage and raw damage.
