Framing Frame

Framing Frame is a multi-day heist that offers significant stealth opportunities and high payouts, particularly when executed flawlessly. This guide focuses on a stealth-first approach to maximize your rewards and minimize complications.

Day 1: The Art Gallery

Your primary objective on Day 1 is to locate and tag four specific paintings within the art gallery. Stealth is paramount here, as triggering the alarm will significantly reduce your potential earnings and complicate subsequent days.

  • Initial Reconnaissance: Upon spawning, immediately identify the camera room. It's typically located on the second floor, often in a corner office. Prioritize taking out the camera operator.
  • Camera Management: Once the camera operator is down, you have approximately 10-15 seconds before the cameras reactivate or a new operator takes over. Use this window to disable as many cameras as possible, especially those covering high-traffic areas or the painting locations. If you have the "ECM Overdrive" skill, an ECM Jammer can buy you crucial time to disable multiple cameras without being detected.
  • Painting Identification: The four target paintings are randomly selected from a larger pool. They can be identified by a small, distinct white tag on their frames. Move cautiously through the gallery, using cover and monitoring guard patrols.
  • Painting Retrieval: Once a target painting is identified, interact with it to tag it. You'll need to carry these paintings to the escape van. Each player can carry one painting at a time. Coordinate with your team to efficiently move all four paintings.
  • Guard Management: Guards patrol both floors. Use stealth takedowns (melee or silenced weapons) to eliminate guards who pose a direct threat to your progress. Remember, each guard you kill will trigger a pager, and you only have a limited number of pagers you can answer before the alarm is raised. Typically, you can answer up to four pagers.
  • Escape: Once all four paintings are in the escape van, the day concludes. Ensure all team members are in the escape zone before the timer runs out.

Day 2: The Train Yard

Day 2 involves infiltrating a train yard to retrieve a gold shipment. This day can be approached stealthily, but it's often more challenging than Day 1 due to the open environment and numerous guards.

  • Entry Point: There are multiple entry points into the train yard. Consider using the side fences or the main gate, depending on guard patrols. A well-placed ECM Jammer can facilitate a quick entry.
  • Locating the Gold: The gold is stored in one of several train cars. You'll need to open each car to check for the gold. Some train cars may contain other loot, such as money bundles, which can be picked up for extra cash.
  • Security Measures: The train yard is heavily guarded, with both patrolling guards and stationary snipers. Prioritize eliminating snipers from a distance with silenced weapons to reduce external threats.
  • Drilling the Vault: Once the gold car is found, you'll need to drill it open. The drill is loud and will attract attention. Prepare for a potential assault if you've been detected. If you're still in stealth, place an ECM Jammer near the drill to mask its noise for a short period.
  • Gold Transport: The gold comes in heavy bags. You'll need to carry these bags to the escape helicopter. This is a slow process, making you vulnerable. Coordinate with your team to create a safe path and provide cover.
  • Escape: The helicopter will land in a designated area. Load all gold bags onto the helicopter and then board it yourself to complete the day.

Day 3: The Senator's Penthouse

The final day requires you to infiltrate a senator's penthouse to plant evidence and retrieve a hard drive. This day is almost exclusively a stealth mission, with very little room for error.

  • Initial Infiltration: Access to the penthouse is typically through the roof. Be mindful of cameras and patrolling guards on the rooftop.
  • Camera Control: The penthouse has a robust camera system. Locate the camera room, usually on the lower floor of the penthouse, and eliminate the operator. This will give you a significant advantage.
  • Locating the Safe Room: Your primary objective is to find the senator's safe room. This room contains the hard drive you need to retrieve. It's often hidden behind a bookshelf or a painting. Look for interactive elements in the walls.
  • Planting Evidence: Before accessing the safe room, you'll need to plant a bug on a specific computer terminal. This terminal is usually in the senator's office or a study area.
  • Hard Drive Retrieval: Once the safe room is open, retrieve the hard drive. This is a small, easily transportable item.
  • Escape: The escape route is usually back through the roof to a waiting helicopter. Be cautious of any remaining guards or cameras that may have reactivated.
