Watch Dogs
The "Watch Dogs" heist is a two-day contract focusing on disrupting a rival gang's operations by stealing their drug stashes and then destroying their distribution network. This heist can be challenging due to the open environments and high enemy density, especially on Day 2. Communication and coordinated team play are crucial for success.
Day 1: The Drug Stash
Day 1 involves locating and securing four duffel bags of drugs from a gang hideout. This hideout is typically a warehouse or a series of interconnected buildings in an industrial area.
- Objective: Locate and Secure Drug Bags (4)
- Initial Reconnaissance: Upon spawning, immediately identify the general layout of the area. There will be several potential buildings where the drug bags can spawn. Look for open doors, windows, and listen for enemy chatter.
- Stealth Approach (Recommended for Lower Difficulties):
- Utilize suppressed weapons (e.g., CAR-4 Rifle with Suppressor, Bernetti 9 Pistol with Suppressor) and deploy ECM Jammers to disable cameras and pagers if you plan to take out guards.
- Prioritize taking out external guards first, then move indoors.
- The drug bags are usually found in storage rooms, offices, or loading bays. They are marked with a distinct yellow outline when you get close.
- Carry the bags to the designated drop-off point, which is usually a white van parked outside the compound.
- Loud Approach (Inevitable on Higher Difficulties):
- Expect immediate resistance. Focus fire on high-threat enemies like Shields and Tasered.
- Use explosives (e.g., HE Rounds for Shotguns, Grenades) to clear out groups of enemies or break through barricades.
- The drug bags are heavy and slow you down. Designate one or two players as carriers while the others provide cover and clear a path.
- Consider bringing Ammo Bags and Doctor Bags for sustained engagements.
- Escape: Once all four bags are secured in the van, the escape vehicle will arrive at a designated location. Clear a path and extract.
Day 2: The Truck Convoy
Day 2 is a high-octane assault on a moving truck convoy carrying the gang's main drug supply. This day is always loud and requires aggressive tactics.
- Objective: Stop the Convoy, Secure Drugs, and Escape
- Initial Setup: You'll start on a highway overpass or a vantage point overlooking the convoy's route. You'll have a limited time to prepare before the convoy appears.
- Stopping the Convoy:
- The primary objective is to disable the lead truck. This can be done by shooting out its tires, engine, or by using explosives. Focus fire on the engine block for quicker results.
- Once the lead truck is disabled, the entire convoy will stop. Prepare for heavy enemy resistance from the other vehicles and incoming police units.
- Securing the Drugs:
- There will be multiple drug bags (typically 6-8) spread across the various trucks in the convoy. These are usually in the back of the trucks, requiring you to open the doors.
- Prioritize opening the truck doors and grabbing the bags while simultaneously fending off police assaults.
- Designate carriers. Having skills like Fast Hands from the Mastermind tree is incredibly useful for speeding up bag interactions.
- The Escape Helicopter:
- After securing a certain number of bags (usually half), Bain will call in an escape helicopter. This helicopter will require a clear landing zone, often on the highway itself.
- You will need to defend the landing zone from waves of enemies while the helicopter descends and prepares for extraction.
- Once the helicopter lands, throw all remaining drug bags into it.
- Final Extraction: After all bags are loaded, board the helicopter to complete the heist. Be aware that enemies will continue to spawn until the last player is inside the helicopter.
