Armor provides defense against physical and magical attacks. All characters can equip the same types of armor, which include body armor and leg armor. Like weapons, armor can be purchased from the Police Station, found in Tartarus, or received as quest rewards. Prioritize armor with higher Defense and Magic Defense stats. Some armor pieces may also offer resistance to specific elemental damage or status ailments, which can be incredibly useful against certain bosses. Keep your party's armor updated as you progress through Tartarus to minimize incoming damage. Don't neglect your support characters' defense; a downed healer is a major problem.
