- Emperor: Resists Fire, Ice, Elec, Wind
- Empress: Resists Pierce, Slash, Strike
Recommended Party: Protagonist, Yukari, Junpei, Akihiko
Strategy: This is your first major boss encounter. The key is to focus fire on one Shadow at a time. The Emperor Shadow is weak to Pierce attacks, so have Yukari use her bow attacks and the Protagonist use Personas with Pierce skills. The Empress Shadow is weak to Fire, making Junpei's Agi spells very effective. Start by having Junpei focus on the Empress with Agi, while Yukari and the Protagonist target the Emperor with Pierce. Akihiko can use Zio spells or physical attacks depending on which boss you're focusing on. Once one is defeated, the other becomes much easier. Be wary of their combined attacks. The Empress can use Marin Karin (Charm), so have Dis-Charm items ready or a Persona with the 'Resist Charm' skill. Keep Yukari on healing duty, especially after their powerful combined attacks. Ensure your Personas cover these weaknesses and have some healing capabilities.
