Walkthrough (Female Protagonist)

Welcome, fellow Persona user, to the comprehensive guide for the Female Protagonist's journey through Persona 3 Portable! This section will detail a recommended path to maximize your social links, combat efficiency, and overall enjoyment of the game. Remember, the Female Protagonist offers unique Social Links and slightly different event triggers, so even seasoned players will find new experiences.

April: The Beginning of a New Life

April 6th: First Day at Gekkoukan

  • Morning: After the introductory scenes, you'll arrive at Gekkoukan High School.
  • Afternoon: Attend class. Your first choice will be to answer a question. Answering correctly will grant you a boost to your Charm stat.
  • Evening: You'll be introduced to the Velvet Room and Igor. Accept the Compendium.
  • Dormitory: Explore your room. Interact with the desk to study, boosting your Academics. This is a crucial stat for unlocking certain Social Links and passing exams.

April 7th - April 18th: Establishing Routine

  • Daytime: Focus on attending classes and participating in school activities.
  • After School:
    • Join a Club: This is vital for initiating Social Links. For the Female Protagonist, consider joining the Art Club (Fortune Arcana) or the Track Team (Chariot Arcana). Both offer excellent early-game Social Links.
    • Stat Building: Prioritize increasing your Charm and Academics.
      • Charm: Visit the Hagakure Ramen shop in Paulownia Mall (evening) or answer questions correctly in class.
      • Academics: Study in your room (evening) or at the library (after school).
    • Part-Time Jobs: Once available, consider the Cafe (Courage) or the Flower Shop (Charm) in Paulownia Mall during the evening to earn money and boost stats.
  • Evening:
    • Tartarus Prep: Before your first full moon, ensure you have a few basic Personas fused. Orpheus is your starting Persona, but having a diverse set of elemental attacks will be beneficial.
    • Healing: Visit the nurse's office if you're feeling tired or sick after Tartarus exploration.

April 19th: First Full Moon Operation

  • Objective: Defeat the first Full Moon Shadow.
  • Location: Monorail.
  • Party Setup: You'll be accompanied by Yukari and Junpei.
  • Strategy:
    • The Priestess: This Shadow is weak to Pierce attacks (Yukari's specialty) and Fire (Junpei's specialty).
    • Exploit Weaknesses: Focus on knocking down the Shadow with these attacks to gain "1 More" turns and initiate All-Out Attacks.
    • Healing: Yukari will be your primary healer. Keep an eye on everyone's HP.
    • Persona Selection: Ensure your Protagonist has a Persona with a diverse set of skills, or at least one that can exploit a weakness if Yukari or Junpei are out of SP.
  • Reward: After the battle, you'll receive experience and progress the story.

May: Expanding Your Horizons

Early May: Post-Full Moon Recovery & Social Link Focus

  • After School: Continue building your Social Links. The Female Protagonist has unique Social Links with male party members.
    • Junpei Iori (Magician Arcana): Available after school.
    • Akihiko Sanada (Emperor Arcana): Available after school, often at the school gate. Requires a certain level of Charm.
    • Ken Amada (Justice Arcana): Available later in the game.
    • Shinjiro Aragaki (Moon Arcana): Available later in the game.
  • Evening: Prioritize studying for upcoming exams. Visit the library for an Academics boost.

Mid-May: Tartarus Exploration & New Personas

  • Tartarus Block 1 (The Arqa): Aim to reach the next access point (typically around Floor 16).
    • Shadows: You'll encounter new Shadow types. Pay attention to their weaknesses.
    • Recommended Personas: Fuse Personas with different elemental attacks (e.g., Bufu, Zio) to cover more weaknesses. Personas like Jack Frost (Ice) and Valkyrie (Pierce/Slash) are good early options.
    • Item Collection: Collect Twilight Fragments from breakable objects. These are essential for opening locked chests and healing at the entrance.
    • Theurgy: Experiment with Theurgy attacks as they become available.
  • May 20th: Midterm Exams Begin
    • Ensure your Academics are high enough to perform well. Answering questions correctly in class throughout April and early May will significantly help.

Late May: Social Link Progress & Preparation for Next Full Moon

  • After School: Continue to prioritize Social Links. Aim to get at least Rank 2 or 3 with your chosen club and a male party member.
  • Evening: If you're not studying, consider visiting the Arcade for stat boosts (Courage, Charm, Academics) or working part-time.
  • May 25th: New Social Link Available
    • Kenji Tomochika (Magician Arcana): Available after school. This is a male Social Link, unique to the Female Protagonist.
