Persona fusion is one of the deepest and most rewarding systems in Persona 3 Reload. Beyond basic fusion, understanding advanced techniques can lead to incredibly powerful Personas with optimized skill sets. Experimentation is key, but these tips will guide you.

Advanced Fusion Techniques:

• Skill Inheritance: Pay attention to which skills can be inherited during fusion. Plan ahead to pass down powerful passive or elemental skills.
• Skill Cards: Use Skill Cards (obtained from Shuffle Time or Elizabeth's requests) to teach specific skills to your Personas, filling gaps in their movesets.
• Fusion Forecast: Check the Fusion Forecast in the Velvet Room for special bonuses on specific days, such as stat boosts or unique skill inheritance.
• Sacrifice Fusion: Use Personas with specific skills as 'sacrifices' to pass those skills to the resulting Persona.
• Compendium Management: Register Personas with desirable skills before fusing them, so you can re-summon them later for other fusions.
• Max Social Link Bonus: Fusing a Persona of a maxed-out Social Link Arcana grants a massive experience bonus, often allowing the Persona to inherit more skills.

Don't be afraid to fuse and re-fuse. The Compendium allows you to re-summon Personas, making experimentation less punishing. Aim for Personas that cover a wide range of elemental attacks and support skills.
