Efficient Tartarus Exploration — Persona 3 Reload Guide
Efficient Tartarus exploration is crucial for managing your time and resources in Persona 3 Reload. This guide provides strategies for navigating Tartarus, including using Great Clocks for level boosts and Scouting for faster loot acquisition, while also highlighting important Elizabeth Requests.
- Saving Progress: The walkthrough indicates specific times to save using a separate save file, allowing you to backtrack if needed.
- Great Clocks: These mechanics appear later in Tartarus. Using a Twilight Fragment on a floor can spawn a Great Clock. Inside, you can choose two party members to receive a level boost, returning you to the entrance. The level gain depends on the Main Character's level. You can only encounter a Great Clock once per visit.
- Scouting: This random event occurs after defeating an enemy. A party member may ask to explore the floor. Accepting allows them to automatically explore the entire floor, collect most loot, and rejoin on the next floor with all found items. Always say yes to speed up exploration.
- Elizabeth's Requests:
- Req #7 (III): Bring a Juzumaru. Reward: Makouha. Obtain from the 3 Twinkling Fragment locked treasure chest on Arqa 36F.
- Req #8 (II): Experiment with fortune telling. Reward: Speed Incense I x3. Visit the Fortune Teller at Club Escapade in Paulownia Mall, pay for "Rarity Fortune," then explore Tartarus until a rare Shadow appears.
- Req #14 (II): Retrieve the second old document. Reward: ¥20,000. Reach the Middle of Second Block, Arqa.
- Req #15 (II): Shadow Hunting Milestone #2. Reward: Umugi Water x3. Defeat 200 Shadows.
- Req #16 (III): Treasure Hunting Milestone #2. Reward: Chewing Soul x2. Open 100 treasure chests.
- Safety Fortune: Costs 5000 Yen and prevents the Reaper from spawning.
