October: Full Moon Operation: Justice & Hermit

October brings a unique challenge with two distinct Shadow encounters on the Full Moon. This guide will prepare you for both the Justice and Hermit Arcana Shadows, ensuring your victory and the safety of Tatsumi Port Island.

Pre-Operation Preparations

Before the Full Moon, focus on maximizing your team's potential and gathering essential resources. The Shadows ahead will test your versatility.

• Leveling: Aim for your party to be around Level 45-50. Spend time in Tartarus, specifically the Tziah Block, to gain experience and valuable items.
• Persona Fusion: Fuse Personas that offer a wide range of elemental attacks and strong healing/support skills. Consider Personas with Ice (Bufudyne) and Electric (Ziodyne) spells for the Justice Shadow, and Fire (Agidyne) and Wind (Garudyne) for the Hermit Shadow. A Persona with Mediarama or Mediarahan is highly recommended for sustained healing.
• Equipment: Ensure your party members have the best available weapons and armor from the Police Station or crafted from Tartarus materials. Prioritize equipment that boosts Magic or Agility for your main attackers.
• Consumables: Stock up on Soma, Bead Chains, Snuff Souls, and Homunculi. These will be crucial for managing SP and surviving critical hits.

Full Moon Operation: Justice & Hermit

The operation takes place on October 4th. You'll be facing two Shadows consecutively, so resource management is key.

Boss 1: Arcana Justice

The Justice Shadow is encountered first. This Shadow is known for its high physical damage and ability to inflict status ailments.

• Location: Port Island Station
• Weaknesses: Ice, Electric
• Resistances/Immunities: Fire, Wind, Light, Dark
• Recommended Party:
  • Protagonist: Focus on Personas with Bufudyne/Ziodyne and strong healing.
  • Yukari: Essential for healing and Garudyne.
  • Akihiko: Ziodyne and physical attacks.
  • Mitsuru: Bufudyne and physical attacks.
• Strategy:
  1. Exploit Weaknesses: Open with Ice and Electric attacks to knock down Justice and initiate All-Out Attacks. Mitsuru and Akihiko will be your primary damage dealers here.
  2. Manage Status Ailments: Justice can inflict Poison and Fear. Have Yukari ready with Patra or Me Patra, or use Dis-Poison and Dis-Fear items.
  3. Physical Defense: Justice's physical attacks can be devastating. Use Tarunda on Justice and Rakukaja on your party to mitigate damage.
  4. Conserve SP: While exploiting weaknesses, try to conserve some SP for the upcoming Hermit Shadow. Use physical attacks when Justice is knocked down and you've already initiated an All-Out Attack.

Boss 2: Arcana Hermit

Immediately following the Justice encounter, you'll face the Hermit Shadow. This Shadow is a master of elemental magic and can be quite tricky.

• Location: Love Hotel
• Weaknesses: Fire, Wind
• Resistances/Immunities: Ice, Electric, Light, Dark
• Recommended Party:
  • Protagonist: Personas with Agidyne/Garudyne and healing.
  • Yukari: Garudyne and primary healer.
  • Junpei: Agidyne and strong physical attacks.
  • Aigis: Physical attacks and support skills like Tarukaja.
  Note: If you used Mitsuru and Akihiko extensively against Justice, consider swapping them out for Junpei and Aigis if their SP is low, or use SP recovery items.
• Strategy:
  1. Elemental Barrage: Hermit will frequently use powerful elemental spells. Ensure your party has Personas or accessories that resist or nullify these elements if possible.
  2. Exploit Weaknesses: Focus on Fire and Wind attacks to knock down Hermit. Junpei's Agidyne and Yukari's Garudyne will be invaluable.
  3. Healing Priority: Hermit's magic can hit hard. Keep your party's HP high with Yukari's healing spells and items like Bead Chains.
  4. Debuffs and Buffs: Apply Tarunda to Hermit to reduce its magic damage, and use Rakukaja on your party to increase their defense.
  5. Watch for Charge/Concentrate: If Hermit uses Charge or Concentrate, prepare for a powerful follow-up attack. Guard with your party members if their HP is low, or use defensive buffs.

Post-Operation

After successfully defeating both Shadows, the Full Moon operation for October will conclude. You'll receive experience, items, and advance the main story. Take this time to:

• Heal Up: Visit the Nurse's Office at school if you're fatigued.
• Social Links: Catch up on any Social Links you've been neglecting.
• Tartarus: Consider another run through Tartarus to prepare for the next Full Moon, as the challenges will only increase from here.
