The Velvet Room is where the magic of Persona fusion happens. Here, Igor and his assistants allow you to fuse two or more Personas to create a new, more powerful one. The resulting Persona's level and abilities are influenced by the Personas used in the fusion, as well as your Social Links. Higher Social Link ranks with a particular Arcana grant bonus experience to newly fused Personas of that same Arcana, making them stronger from the outset.

Skill inheritance is a crucial aspect of Persona building. When fusing, you can choose which skills from the component Personas will be passed down to the new one.
