Once you acquire the Scooter License, you unlock the ability to travel to new, vital locations, sificantly streamlining your daily activities and opening up new opportunities.
The Scooter License is obtained on June 9th. Upon acquiring it, you gain access to two key new areas: Okina City and Shichiri Beach. These locations are not just for sightseeing; they are integral to progressing certain Social Links, finding unique items, and engaging in activities that boost your social stats.
Okina City is a bustling urban center that offers several shops, restaurants, and services not available in Inaba. You can find better equipment, unique accessories, and dine at restaurants that provide sificant stat boosts. More importantly, Okina City is where you can meet and develop several Social Links, such as the Aeon (Marie) and Lovers (Rise) Social Links, which have specific meeting locations there.
Shichiri Beach, while perhaps less frequently visited, offers a different kind of environment for relaxation and potential Social Link interactions. It provides a change of pace from the daily grind of Inaba and can be a necessary stop for certain quests or Social Link events.
The primary benefit of scooter travel is the drastic reduction in travel time. Instead of spending precious hours moving between locations, the scooter allows for near-instantaneous travel to these new areas.
