Social Links

Social Links are a core mechanic in Persona 4 Golden, representing your relationships with various characters. Strengthening these bonds grants benefits in combat and unlocks story content. Many Social Links are temporarily blocked during certain story events, such as exams or when investigating new targets.

During July, specific Social Links may be available or temporarily blocked:

  • July 12th: Strength and Sun Social Links are temporarily blocked due to upcoming exams.
  • July 12th Daytime Meetings: Adachi (Jester)
  • July 12th Night Meetings: Nanako (Justice), Shu (Tower), Adachi (Jester), Ai (Moon), Yosuke (Magician)
  • July 13th Daytime Meetings: Yukiko (Priestess), Marie (Aeon), Adachi (Jester)
  • July 13th Night Meetings: Dojima (Hierophant), Sayoko (Devil), Adachi (Jester), Chie (Chariot)
  • Adachi (Jester) Social Link 6: During a daytime meeting, options like "You slacking off again?", "Good for you.", or "But doesn't it get lonely?" are presented. This Social Link will not rank up further until later in the game.
  • Yukiko (Priestess) Social Link 8: During a daytime meeting, choosing "You should've said more." will advance the link, and Yukiko learns Mudoon.

The Hermit Social Link is unique as it can be leveled on any day, and asking for and solving its quests are free actions.
