The Protagonist, also known as Yu Narukami, is the leader of the Investigation Team and the wielder of the Wild Card ability. This means he can switch between multiple Personas in battle, making him the most versatile and powerful member of your party. His build is entirely dependent on the Personas you fuse and equip.
Key Strengths:
- Wild Card: Access to virtually all skills and elemental types.
- High Stats: Can become incredibly powerful with proper Persona fusion.
- Versatility: Can fill any role (attacker, healer, support) as needed.
Persona Building Strategy:
- Elemental Coverage: Aim to have Personas that cover all elemental weaknesses (Fire, Ice, Elec, Wind, Light, Dark, Pierce, Strike, Slash). This is crucial for exploiting '1 More' turns.
- Healing & Support: Always have at least one Persona with strong healing (Mediarahan, Samarecarm) and support skills (Tarukaja, Rakukaja, Sukukaja, Debilitate, Heat Riser).
- Physical & Almighty Damage: Fuse Personas with powerful physical skills (Primal Force, God's Hand) and Almighty skills (Megidolaon, Black Viper) for boss fights.
- Passive Skills: Don't forget passive skills like 'Victory Cry' (restores HP/SP after battle), 'Spell Master' (halves SP cost of magic), and 'Enduring Soul' (survive one fatal blow).
- Ultimate Personas: Maxing out Social Links unlocks the ability to fuse powerful ultimate Personas for each Arcana. Prioritize these, especially those with unique skills.
Recommended Equipment:
- Weapon: Swords. Aim for weapons with high attack power and beneficial effects (e.g., critical rate up, status ailment chance).
- Armor: The best available armor with high defense.
- Accessory: SP-restoring items (e.g., Chakra Ring, SP Adhesive 3) are invaluable, especially in longer dungeons. Critical rate up or evasion accessories are also good.
