January 1st: New Year's Day. You'll spend time with the Dojima family. This is a scripted event.
January 2nd - February 4th: Continue with Social Links and stat building. This is your last chance to max out any remaining Social Links before the final dungeon. On February 4th, you'll have your final school day. After school, the Investigation Team will meet up. You'll have a choice to make regarding the 'true culprit'.
Unlocking the True Ending:
To unlock the true ending, you must NOT go home on February 4th. Instead, choose to continue investigating. You'll need to talk to specific NPCs in the Central Shopping District:
- Talk to the Gas Station Attendant (the same one you met at the beginning of the game).
- He will ask you a series of questions. Answer them carefully:
- "Is there anything else you're curious about?" Answer: "Yes."
- "About the murders, right?" Answer: "Yes."
- "Do you think the murders are truly over?" Answer: "No."
- "Do you think the killer is still out there?" Answer: "Yes."
- "Do you think the killer is someone we know?" Answer: "Yes."
After this conversation, the Gas Station Attendant will reveal his true identity, Izanami, and the final dungeon, 'Yomotsu Hirasaka', will become available. If you fail these choices, you will get the 'Accomplice Ending' or the 'Normal Ending'.
