June: Walkthrough

Welcome to June, Investigation Team! This month brings new challenges, new Social Links, and a new dungeon to conquer. Stay sharp, manage your time wisely, and remember to prepare for the upcoming boss battle.

Early June: Social Links & Preparation

The beginning of June is a great time to focus on building your Social Links and preparing for the next major dungeon. Remember to always carry a Persona of the matching Arcana to gain bonus Social Link points.

  • June 1st (Wednesday): School is back in session. You'll likely have class questions today. Answer correctly to boost your Knowledge.
  • June 2nd (Thursday): After school, consider working on the Strength (Daisuke/Kou) Social Link if available, or the Chariot (Chie) Social Link. Evening activities can include studying at your desk for Knowledge or working part-time for money and stat boosts.
  • June 3rd (Friday): Another school day. Pay attention to class questions. In the evening, the Sun (Yumi/Ayane) Social Link becomes available if you join the Drama or Music Club. This is a good opportunity to start it.
  • June 4th (Saturday): Look for opportunities to advance the Hermit (Fox) Social Link by accepting requests at the Shrine. Completing these requests grants yen and boosts the Fox's bond.
  • June 5th (Sunday): Day off. Consider spending time with a Social Link, fishing at the Samegawa Flood Plain, or reading a book to boost a stat. The Empress (Margaret) Social Link can be started by showing her specific Personas.

The Steamy Bathhouse: Dungeon Crawling

The new dungeon for June is the Steamy Bathhouse. This dungeon is available from June 9th and you have until June 26th to rescue the victim. We recommend tackling it as early as possible to allow ample time for Social Links and other activities.

Recommended Party Setup

For the Steamy Bathhouse, a balanced party is key. Yosuke's Garu skills are effective against many enemies here, and Chie's physical attacks are always reliable. Kanji will join your party after you clear this dungeon, so for now, focus on:

  • Protagonist: Versatile, can cover weaknesses.
  • Yosuke: Wind damage, healing.
  • Chie: Ice damage, physical attacks.
  • Yukiko: Fire damage, strong healing.

Key Shadows and Strategies

The Bathhouse features Shadows with varied weaknesses. Be prepared to switch Personas frequently with the Protagonist.

  • Dancing Hand: Weak to Electric. Common enemy.
  • Trance Twins: Weak to Ice. Can cast status ailments.
  • Iron Dice: Weak to Wind. High physical defense.
  • Monopolizing Cupid: Weak to Fire. Can charm your party members.

Dungeon Navigation & Items

The Steamy Bathhouse has 11 floors. explore thoroughly to find treasure chests and gain experience.

  • Treasure Chests: Look for items like Snuff Soul, Revival Bead, and new equipment.
  • Golden Hands: These elusive Shadows drop large amounts of Yen and experience. They are weak to physical attacks. Try to ambush them and use skills like Assault Dive or Swift Strike.
  • Save Points: Located on various floors. Always save your progress before leaving the dungeon or attempting a boss battle.

Boss Battle: Shadow Kanji

Shadow Kanji is located on the 11th floor. He is accompanied by two sub-bosses, the Nice Guy and the Tough Guy.

  • Shadow Kanji's Weakness: None. He resists physical attacks and has no elemental weaknesses.
  • Nice Guy: Weak to Fire. Focus on taking him out first with Yukiko's Agi skills.
  • Tough Guy: Weak to Wind. Yosuke's Garu skills will be effective here.
  • Strategy:
    1. Eliminate the Nice Guy and Tough Guy quickly to reduce incoming damage and prevent them from buffing Shadow Kanji.
    2. Once the sub-bosses are down, focus all your attacks on Shadow Kanji. Physical attacks are generally more reliable than elemental spells, as he resists all elements.
    3. Be prepared for his powerful electric attacks. Equip accessories that boost Electric resistance if you have them.
    4. Maintain healing with Yukiko and Yosuke. Use items like Medical Kit or Soul Drop as needed.
    5. The Protagonist should use Personas with strong physical skills or those that can debuff Shadow Kanji's defense or attack.

Mid to Late June: After the Dungeon

After successfully rescuing Kanji, the Investigation Team will have a brief respite. This is an excellent time to:

  • Advance Social Links: Many new Social Links become available or deepen after major story events. Kanji's Emperor Social Link will now be available.
  • Part-time Jobs: Continue working part-time for money and stat boosts. The Envelope Folding job (available at the bus stop) and the Tutoring job (available at the bulletin board in the Shopping District, South) are good options.
  • Fishing: If you haven't already, try fishing at the Samegawa Flood Plain. You can exchange fish for useful items at the Shiroku Store.
  • Reading: Visit the bookstore in the Central Shopping District to purchase new books. Reading boosts various stats and can sometimes open up new activities.
  • Gardening: If you've started the gardening Social Link with Nanako, remember to tend to the garden for fresh vegetables.

  • June 27th: Class trip to Tatsumi Port Island. This is a story event and will advance several Social Links automatically. Enjoy the cutscenes!
  • June 28th - 29th: Class trip continues. More story events and opportunities to bond with your teammates.
