Welcome to October, a pivotal month in Inaba! The stakes are rising, and new challenges await. This section will guide you through the month's events, ensuring you make the most of your time and prepare for the upcoming dungeon.

October 1st - October 4th: School Life & Social Links

These initial days are relatively calm, offering excellent opportunities to advance your Social Links and boost your social stats. Prioritize hanging out with characters whose Social Links are close to ranking up, or those you haven't spent much time with recently.

  • Daily Activities:
    • After School: Focus on Social Links. Check the bulletin board in the school hallway for requests, or visit the shopping district to find friends. check the Shrine for fortunes to boost Social Link points.
    • Evening: Work on part-time jobs (e.g., Tutor, Hospital Janitor) to earn money and boost stats. Reading books from the Yomenaido Bookstore can also increase your Knowledge, Diligence, Expression, Courage, or Understanding.
    • Items to Look Out For: Keep an eye on the TV Shopping Channel on Sundays for exclusive items.
  • Key Events:
    • October 3rd: There will be a mandatory school event. Participate fully to gain social stat boosts.

October 5th: The New Dungeon Appears

A new victim will be announced, and the TV World will react, opening up a new dungeon. This is your cue to start preparing for the next rescue mission.

  • Investigation:
    • Talk to your friends and gather information about the new victim. This will help you understand the nature of the upcoming dungeon.
    • Visit the Central Shopping District and Junes to overhear conversations that might provide clues.
  • Preparation:
    • Stock Up: Head to Shiroku Store (Daidara Metalworks) in the Central Shopping District to purchase new weapons, armor, and accessories. Ensure your party members are well-equipped. Consider buying a few Medical Kits and Goho-M for dungeon exploration.
    • Persona Fusions: Visit the Velvet Room. Fuse new Personas that cover a wide range of elemental affinities to exploit enemy weaknesses in the new dungeon. Pay attention to Personas with healing or support skills.
    • Leveling: If you feel under-leveled, consider revisiting previous dungeons like the Steamy Bathhouse or Marukyu Striptease for some quick experience and item farming.

October 6th - October 20th: Dungeon Crawling & Rescue Mission

The new dungeon, The Secret Laboratory, is now accessible. Your primary goal is to rescue the new victim before the fog rolls in.

  • The Secret Laboratory:
    • Recommended Level: Aim for your party to be around Level 45-50 before tackling this dungeon seriously.
    • Enemy Weaknesses:
      • Many enemies in this dungeon are weak to Ice and Wind attacks. Ensure Chie and Yosuke have strong skills in these areas, or fuse Personas with these affinities for the Protagonist.
      • Some shadows may also be weak to Electric or Fire, so having a balanced team is crucial.
    • Notable Shadows:
      • Jotun of Evil: Often found on the lower floors. Weak to Wind.
      • Power Castle: Resists Physical, weak to Ice.
      • Mad Cyclops: Weak to Electric.
    • Boss Battle: The boss of this dungeon is challenging. Ensure your party is fully healed and has enough SP before engaging. The boss has no specific elemental weaknesses but is susceptible to status ailments like Poison or Fear. Focus on buffing your party's attack and defense, and debuffing the boss.
  • Time Management:
    • You have until October 20th to complete the dungeon and rescue the victim. Don't procrastinate!
    • Try to clear the dungeon in as few trips as possible to maximize your free time for Social Links and stat building.
    • The Fox (Hermit Social Link) can heal your party and restore SP in the TV World for a fee, making longer dungeon runs more feasible.

October 21st - October 31st: Post-Dungeon & Halloween

With the victim rescued, the pressure is off, allowing you to focus on other aspects of the game.

  • Social Link Opportunities:
    • Take advantage of the clear weather to advance your Social Links. Many characters will be available.
    • Check for new requests from the Fox or on the bulletin board.
  • Halloween Event (October 31st):
    • On Halloween, you'll have a special event with your friends. This is a mandatory event and will consume your evening. Enjoy the festivities!
  • Stat Building:
    • Continue working on your social stats through reading, part-time jobs, and specific activities like eating at Aiya's (Rainy Days) for stat boosts.
