The Velvet Room and Persona fusion are at the heart of the Persona series. Mastering this system is crucial for creating powerful Personas for the Protagonist. Skill inheritance allows you to pass skills from parent Personas to the newly fused one.

Fusion Basics:
- Two-Persona Fusion: Combine two Personas to create a new one.
- Triangle Fusion: Combine three Personas to create a new one (unlocked later).
- Special Fusion: Specific combinations of Personas are required to fuse certain powerful Personas.
- Arcana Bonus: Having an active Social Link of the same Arcana as the fused Persona grants bonus experience, making it stronger from the start.
Skill Inheritance:
- Random Inheritance: Skills inherited are somewhat random, but you can influence it.
- Skill Cards: Use Skill Cards (obtained from Shuffle Time or trading gems) to teach specific skills to your Personas.
- Fusion Forecast: Check the Fusion Forecast for special events that can grant bonus stats or specific skills to fused Personas.
Advanced Strategies:
- Elemental Coverage: Fuse Personas that cover all elemental types (Fire, Ice, Elec, Wind, Light, Dark, Pierce, Strike, Slash) to exploit weaknesses.
- Healing & Support: Always have Personas with strong healing (Mediarahan, Samarecarm) and support skills (Tarukaja, Rakukaja, Sukukaja, Debilitate, Heat Riser).
- Passive Skills: Inherit powerful passive skills like 'Victory Cry' (restores HP/SP after battle), 'Spell Master' (halves SP cost of magic), 'Enduring Soul' (survive one fatal blow), and 'Growth' (gain EXP even if not equipped).
- Stat Boosting: Use Incense (found in dungeons or bought) to permanently boost a Persona's stats.
- Compendium: Register strong Personas in the Compendium. You can summon them later for a fee, allowing you to experiment with fusion without losing your best Personas permanently.
Don't be afraid to experiment with fusion. The more you fuse, the stronger your Protagonist becomes.
