Story-Related Trophies (Unmissable)
These trophies are earned automatically as you progress through the main story. You cannot miss them, so simply enjoy the narrative!
- The Truth of the Case: Defeat the final boss and complete the main story.
- A New Culprit: Unlocked after solving the first murder case and confronting the initial culprit.
- Dungeon Diver: Clear the first dungeon, Yukiko's Castle.
- Shadow of the Labyrinth: Defeat the Shadow at the end of the Steamy Bathhouse.
- Rise to the Occasion: Rescue Rise from the Marukyu Striptease.
- The Hero of Inaba: Complete the Secret Laboratory dungeon.
- Breaking the Chain: Conquer the Heaven dungeon.
- The Great Detective: Finish the Magatsu Inaba dungeon.
Social Link Master
This is one of the most time-consuming but rewarding trophies. You need to maximize all Social Links (reach Rank 10) with every available character in a single playthrough.
Strategy:
- Prioritize Social Stats: Max out all five Social Stats (Knowledge, Courage, Diligence, Expression, Understanding) as early as possible. Many Social Links require certain stat levels to progress.
- Knowledge: Study at the desk in your room, answer questions correctly in class, eat at Aiya's Chinese Diner on rainy days.
- Courage: Eat at Aiya's Chinese Diner, work at the hospital (night job), read specific books.
- Diligence: Work at the hospital (night job), make envelopes (night job), fish.
- Expression: Work at the Tutoring job (night job), sing at the karaoke bar, read specific books.
- Understanding: Work at the Tutoring job (night job), help Nanako with homework, read specific books.
- Use a Guide: Seriously, use a day-by-day walkthrough (like KADFC's or Hurricanehaon's 100% guide) to optimize your time. There are very few free days, and missing even one Social Link event can jeopardize this trophy.
- Always Carry a Matching Persona: When spending time with a Social Link, always have a Persona of their corresponding Arcana equipped. This grants bonus points, making it easier to rank up and saving precious time.
- Night Activities: Don't waste nights! Use them for part-time jobs (especially the hospital and tutoring for stats/money), reading books, or making envelopes.
- School Links First: Prioritize school-based Social Links (e.g., Yosuke, Chie, Yukiko, Kanji, Rise, Naoto, Kou/Daisuke, Ayane/Yumi, Strength, Hanged Man) as they are only available on specific weekdays.
- Rainy Days: Use rainy days to eat at Aiya's (for stat boosts) or to advance Social Links that are available regardless of weather (e.g., Hermit, Tower).
- Key Dates: Be aware of specific deadlines for dungeons and events. Clear dungeons as early as possible to free up more time for Social Links.
Compendium Completionist
Register 100% of the Persona Compendium. This trophy requires significant effort and planning, especially for high-level Personas and fusion spells.
Strategy:
- Fuse, Fuse, Fuse: The vast majority of Personas are obtained through fusion in the Velvet Room. Experiment with different combinations.
- Max Social Links: This is crucial. When you max a Social Link, you gain the ability to fuse the ultimate Persona of that Arcana (e.g., Lucifer for Judgement, Izanagi-no-Okami for World). These are often the highest-level Personas and essential for 100% completion.
- Persona Cards: During Shuffle Time after battles, try to obtain Persona cards. This is the only way to get some Personas (like Izanagi) into your inventory initially, which can then be used for fusion.
- Special Fusions: Some Personas require specific 3-way or 4-way fusions. The game will indicate these in the fusion menu.
- Money Management: Fusing and recalling Personas from the Compendium can be expensive. Ensure you have a steady income. The Fox's Social Link (Hermit) can reduce dungeon costs, and part-time jobs help.
- Save Before Fusing: Always save your game before a major fusion session, especially if you're attempting a complex one or trying to inherit specific skills.
- Skill Cards: Don't forget Skill Cards! While not directly for Compendium completion, they can help you create more powerful Personas for battle, making dungeon crawling easier and allowing you to focus on fusion.
Hardcore Risette Fan
Hear 250 unique navigation lines from Rise during battle. This trophy is notorious for being easily missed if not actively pursued.
Strategy:
- Bring Rise to Every Battle: This is non-negotiable. Rise must be in your party for her to provide navigation.
- Exploit Weaknesses: Rise comments on enemy weaknesses, resistances, and immunities. hit every enemy type with their weakness at least once.
- Inflict Status Ailments: Rise has unique lines for enemies afflicted with Poison, Panic, Fear, Enervation, etc. Use skills like Poison Skewer, Pulinpa, or Evil Touch.
- Critical Hits: Land critical hits frequently. Skills like Herculean Strike or Brain Shake are good for this.
- Downed Enemies: Ensure enemies are knocked down (via weakness or critical) for Rise to comment on their state.
- Enemy Reinforcements: When enemies call for reinforcements, Rise will often have a line.
- Low HP/SP: Let your party members get low on HP or SP. Rise will comment on their condition.
- Boss Battles: Every boss battle has unique lines from Rise. experience them.
- New Game+ (Optional): If you miss this on your first playthrough, it's easier on New Game+ as you'll have stronger Personas and can focus more on triggering lines.
- Track Progress (Unofficial): There's no in-game counter, so it's hard to track. The best advice is to simply be diligent throughout the entire game. Don't rush through battles; try to trigger as many different scenarios as possible.
Fishing Master
Catch the Sea Guardian and River Guardian.
Strategy:
- Max Diligence: This stat is crucial for successful fishing.
- Get the Best Rod:
- Beginner's Fishing Rod: Obtained from the old man at the Samegawa Flood Plain after catching a Red Goldfish.
- Guardian Fishing Rod: After catching a Huge Fish (requires Inaba Trout as bait, found in the Shiroku Store at night), show it to the old man at the Samegawa Flood Plain. He will give you the Guardian Fishing Rod. This rod is essential for catching the Guardians.
- Bait:
- Tatsuhime Ladybug: Required for the River Guardian. Found by trading Geminis at the Shiroku Store at night.
- Genji Ayu: Required for the Sea Guardian. Found by trading Inaba Trout at the Shiroku Store at night.
- Locations:
- River Guardian: Fish at the Samegawa Flood Plain. Use Tatsuhime Ladybug bait. Fish during rainy days for a higher chance.
- Sea Guardian: Fish at the Tatsuhime Shrine (accessed via the bus stop in Okina City after obtaining the scooter). Use Genji Ayu bait. Fish during rainy days for a higher chance.
- Fishing Technique:
- Cast your line and wait for a large splash.
- When you hook something, repeatedly tap the action button (usually Circle/B) to reel it in.
- The key is to keep the line tension in the green zone. If it goes red, you risk losing the fish. If it goes blue, you're not reeling fast enough.
- Guardians put up a significant fight, so be prepared for a long struggle.

Strategy:
- Purchase Books: Most books are bought from the bookstore in the Central Shopping District, North. Check frequently as new books become available throughout the year.

- Hyperspeed Reading: This book allows you to read two chapters at once. It's obtained from the book exchange at the Central Shopping District, South, after trading in 5 Prize Stickers (from buying items at the convenience store). Get this as early as possible!
- The Divine Way: Another book that boosts reading speed.
- Check Your Inventory: Keep track of which books you've read. The game indicates "Read" next to completed books.
