This Down status is crucial as it allows for the Baton Pass system, granting extra turns and damage multipliers. Several factors influence critical hit rates, including weapon choice, specific skills, and certain accessories. Building a character focused on critical hits can turn them into a potent offensive force.
Evasion, on the other hand, is about avoiding damage altogether. Characters with high evasion can dodge physical and sometimes magical attacks.
