The Gallows in Persona 5 Royal offer a unique method for Persona training, allowing you to strengthen your Personas by sacrificing others. This mechanic is crucial for optimizing your Persona roster, transferring skills, and preparing for the most challenging encounters the game has to offer.
The Gallows, accessible through the Velvet Room, provide a powerful means of Persona enhancement beyond simple fusion. This system allows you to sacrifice one Persona to grant stat boosts or specific skills to another. Mastering the Gallows is essential for creating highly specialized Personas tailored to specific combat roles, ensuring you have the edge against even the toughest opponents in the Metaverse.
- Accessing the Gallows: The Gallows are located within the Velvet Room and can be accessed by speaking with Caroline and Justine.
- Persona Sacrifice: Similar to the Electric Chair, the Gallows involve sacrificing a Persona from your roster. However, instead of creating a Skill Card, the sacrificed Persona's essence is used to directly enhance another.
- Stat Boosts: Sacrificing a Persona in the Gallows can permanently increase the stats (Strength, Magic, Endurance, Agility, Luck) of another Persona. The amount of the stat increase depends on the level and stats of the sacrificed Persona.
- Skill Inheritance: In addition to stat boosts, the Gallows can also be used to transfer skills. When sacrificing a Persona, you can choose to pass on one of its learned skills to the target Persona. This is a key method for creating Personas with specific, optimized skill sets.
- Target Persona Selection: You choose which Persona will receive the benefits of the sacrifice. This allows for targeted strengthening of your favorite or most strategically important Personas.
