Personas are the manifestations of your inner self in Persona 5 Royal, and their stats and growth are critical to your success in combat. Each Persona has its own base stats, elemental affinities, and learned skills, which can be further enhanced through leveling up and fusion. Understanding how these stats influence combat and how to nurture your Personas' growth is essential for building a powerful team.

The primary stats for a Persona are Strength (STR), Magic (MAG), Endurance (END), Agility (AGI), and Luck (LCK). These stats directly influence the effectiveness of your attacks, your defense against incoming damage, your speed in combat, and your chances of inflicting status ailments or avoiding them.

• Strength (STR): Affects the damage dealt by Physical attacks.
• Magic (MAG): Affects the damage dealt by all magical attacks (elemental and non-elemental).
• Endurance (END): Affects the amount of damage taken from all attacks; higher END means less damage.
• Agility (AGI): Affects your turn order in combat and the chance to hit or evade attacks.
• Luck (LCK): Affects the chance of inflicting status ailments, critical hits, and evading attacks.

Personas gain experience points (EXP) through combat and fusion. As they level up, their base stats increase, and they may learn new skills. The rate at which a Persona gains EXP can be influenced by various factors, including the Confidant ranks of certain allies (like the Strength Confidant) and the use of specific items or abilities.

Fusion is the primary method for improving your Personas beyond simple leveling. By fusing existing Personas, you can create new ones with higher base stats, access to a wider array of skills, and often belonging to higher Arcana ranks. The stats of the resulting Persona are influenced by the stats of the Personas used in the fusion, as well as the level of the Strength Confidant, which can grant bonus EXP to fused Personas.

To optimize your Persona's growth:

• Fuse strategically: Aim to fuse Personas that have higher base stats or learn skills that complement your playstyle.
• Level up your Personas: Engage in combat and utilize EXP-boosting methods to increase their levels and unlock their full potential.
• Utilize Fusion Alarms: When a Fusion Alarm occurs, fusing Personas during this time can result in sificantly stronger outcomes.
