The fusion process takes place in the Velvet Room, presided over by Igor and his assistants, Caroline and Justine. When you fuse Personas, the resulting Persona's level is typically higher than the average level of the ingredients, and it inherits skills from its components. This skill inheritance is where the strategic depth of fusion truly lies.

Here's a breakdown of the basic fusion mechanics:

• Selecting Ingredients: You choose two or more Personas from your roster to be used in the fusion. The resulting Persona is determined by the Arcana and level of the ingredients.
• Skill Inheritance: The new Persona will inherit a selection of skills from its ingredients. You can often influence which skills are passed down by prioritizing certain skills during the fusion process.
• Arcana Matching: Fusing Personas of the same Arcana as the resulting Persona will grant bonus experience points, helping them level up faster.
• Special Fusions: Certain powerful Personas can only be created through specific, multi-Persona fusions, often requiring a particular order or combination of ingredients.
• Skill Cards: You can use Skill Cards obtained from battle or crafting to teach specific skills to a Persona, regardless of its fusion ingredients.
