Showtime Attacks are spectacular, high-damage team-up moves in Persona 5 Royal that can turn the tide of battle. These cinematic attacks are triggered when specific conditions are met, involving certain character pairings and combat situations. Mastering their activation can lead to devastating damage output and efficient enemy clearing.

Showtime Attacks are unique to Persona 5 Royal and involve two Phantom Thieves performing a special combined attack. The specific pairings and their triggers are as follows:

• Joker & Ryuji: Triggered when Ryuji is Downed or when Joker uses a physical attack on an enemy weak to physical damage.
• Joker & Ann: Triggered when Ann uses a fire attack on an enemy weak to fire damage or when Joker uses a gun attack.
• Joker & Morgana: Triggered when Morgana uses a wind attack on an enemy weak to wind damage or when Joker uses a bless attack.
• Joker & Yusuke: Triggered when Yusuke uses an ice attack on an enemy weak to ice damage or when Joker uses a physical attack.
• Joker & Makoto: Triggered when Makoto uses a nuclear attack on an enemy weak to nuclear damage or when Joker uses a psychic attack.
• Joker & Futaba: Triggered when Futaba uses an electric attack on an enemy weak to electric damage or when Joker uses a curse attack.
• Joker & Haru: Triggered when Haru uses a psychic attack on an enemy weak to psychic damage or when Joker uses a gun attack.
• Joker & Akechi: Triggered when Akechi uses a bless attack on an enemy weak to bless damage or when Joker uses a curse attack.
• Joker & Kasumi: Triggered when Kasumi uses a physical attack on an enemy weak to physical damage or when Joker uses a bless attack.

The specific conditions can sometimes be flexible, but generally, having the relevant character in the party, the enemy being weak to the associated element, or a specific character being in a "Downed" state are common triggers. Observing the "Showtime" prompt that appears above a character's head is the key to knowing when an attack is available.
