Thieves Den Completion Guide
The Thieves' Den is a customizable area where you can view achievements, listen to music, and decorate. Completing various in-game activities, such as Trophies, Crossword Puzzles, and collecting Shelf Decorations, contributes to its completion. The guide aims for a 100% playthrough, including all collectibles and maxing out Confidants.
The guide is written to show you the general P5 schedule, but also:
- What you can do on a given day
- What the guide writer did on a given day
This is done to:
- Allow you to plan your own schedule
- Play along with the guide's actions for a 100% playthrough
- Show why an action was chosen on a particular day, which may help if you're unsure about an action
The guide accounts for changes in Persona 5 Royal compared to the original Persona 5. For example, guns now regain ammunition after every fight. Morgana will also demonstrate how to set commands for your team by configuring his Tactics option.
If you have save data from the original Persona 5, you will receive bonus items:
Persona 5 Save Data Items
---
Hogyoku Apple x 3 (full team heal)
Band-Ace x 3 (single use revive)
50,000 yen
On April 17th, Ryuji will take you to the Airsoft Shop in Shibuya to buy weapons and armor. If you have the 50,000 yen bonus from save data, you will have enough to buy everything. It is suggested not to buy a new melee weapon for Ryuji, as he can get a better one early in Kamoshida's Palace. Focus on getting better guns for Joker, Ryuji, Morgana, and Ann.
Mementos Requests are a good source of EXP and items. While some are required for the Moon Confidant, others can be skipped if not interested. An example is "The Bark and Bite of A Bully," available on May 9th. This is the first Request from Mishima, and details are automatically provided to pursue the target in Mementos or outside Shujin Academy's School Gate at Aoyama-Itchome.
The boss fight for "The Bark and Bite of A Bully" is against Jack Frost/Shadow Takanashi. Fire is not its weakness in this fight. It uses Evil Touch to inflict Fear and Lucky Punch for criticals. Personas that resist Physical attacks, like Slime, are useful. Items to cure Fear are highly recommended. The fight is manageable if you can work around Lucky Punch, as there are no Ice attacks to worry about Ann.
After completing "The Bark and Bite of a Bully," the request "One Who Bullies Bullies" becomes available. To start this, go to the School Gate at Aoyama-Itchome and listen to a conversation near the vending machines to get the necessary information.
The boss fight for "One Who Bullies Bullies" is against Black Frost/Shadow Sakoda. Black Frost repels Fire, drains Ice, is immune to Nuclear, and repels Curse. Avoid using these attack types. It has a powerful Physical attack and uses Mamudo, a low-level Curse skill that can cause an instant Game Over if reflected.
