Jose's Shop Optimization
Jose, the mysterious boy in Mementos, offers unique services that can sificantly boost your progression. By collecting Flowers and Stamps, you can enhance Jose's shop, allowing for increased item drops and more efficient farming. Prioritizing these upgrades can save you valuable time and resources throughout your journey.
To unlock Jose's full potential, you'll need to reach Strength Rank 3 with the Twins in the Velvet Room. Once this is achieved, seek out Jose in Mementos. He requires 10 Stamps to upgrade his shop's services. These Stamps are found scattered throughout Mementos, with 2 Quimranut Stamps and 8 Aiyatsbus Stamps being the primary targets. Spend all your collected Flowers at his shop before leaving Mementos, as any unspent Flowers will be lost.
This is also an opportune time for sificant money farming. Aim to accumulate at least 100,000 yen, though 250,000 yen is a safer bet to cover all necessary expenses. Treasure Demons have a higher spawn rate during Pollen Warnings, making them excellent sources of experience and yen. If you're struggling to reach your monetary goal, consider saving your game before leaving Mementos, selling your loot at the Airsoft Shop, and reloading if the amount is insufficient.
Before departing Mementos after your farming session, ensure you have Personas of the Councilor, Temperance, Chariot, Lovers, and Hierophant arcs. These will be beneficial for upcoming Confidant interactions. Additionally, engage with in-game activities that boost your stats:
- Answer the TV Game Show question correctly for Knowledge +1.
- Watch 'Not-so-hot Betsy' on DVD for Charm +2.
