Optimal Palace Infiltration Order
Navigating the Palaces in Persona 5 Royal requires a strategic approach to infiltration. While the game presents them in a generally linear fashion, optimizing your entry and completion can lead to greater efficiency and better resource management.
The Palaces are presented in a set order dictated by the narrative. However, the timing of your infiltration within the given deadline is where optimization comes into play. The goal is to enter a Palace, secure the objective (usually the Treasure), and exit with as much time remaining as possible, allowing for further Confidant progression and stat-building.
Here's a general strategy for optimal Palace infiltration:
- Early Infiltration: Aim to enter a Palace as soon as it becomes available and the story allows. This gives you the maximum number of days to complete it.
- Daytime vs. Nighttime: Utilize daytime for exploring the Palace and progressing through its challenges. Save nighttime for returning to the Safe Room and exiting the Metaverse, or for activities in the real world if you have time.
- Focus on the Objective: While exploration is important for finding collectibles like Will Seeds, prioritize reaching the Treasure room and securing it. You can always return later for optional items if time permits.
- Utilize Safe Rooms: Activate all Safe Rooms as you find them. This allows for quick backtracking and efficient progression.
- Prepare for Bosses: Ensure your Personas are appropriately leveled and your party is equipped before facing the Palace boss.
- Post-Treasure Exploration: After securing the Treasure, you'll have a limited number of days to force the change of heart. Use this time to complete any remaining Mementos requests or rank up Confidants.
