Collectibles, Unlocks, And Recommendations

This guide offers a comprehensive walkthrough for Persona 5 Royal, detailing daily activities and choices for a 100% playthrough. It accounts for changes from the original Persona 5, providing a new guide rather than an update. Follow along to optimize your schedule, collect all items, and understand the reasoning behind each action.

The guide is structured to show:

  • What you can do on a given day
  • What the guide writer did on a given day

This approach helps you:

  1. Plan your own schedule
  2. Play along with the guide's actions for a 100% playthrough
  3. Understand the rationale behind specific daily choices

If you have save data from the original Persona 5, you will receive bonus items early in the game. These are found in the box storing your belongings after returning home on April 12th:

Persona 5 Save Data Items
Hogyoku Apple x 3 (full team heal)
Band-Ace x 3 (single use revive)
50,000 yen

Mementos Requests, while not strictly Confidant-related, are a good source of EXP and items. You must complete a few for the Moon Confidant, but others can be skipped if not interested in the rewards.

The first Request, The Bark and Bite of A Bully, becomes available on May 9th. It has a Difficulty D and requires no research. The target is located on Aiyatsubus 2nd Floor, outside Shujin Academy's School Gate at Aoyama-Itchome. The Mementos boss is Jack Frost/Shadow Takanashi. Fire is not its weakness in this fight! It uses Evil Touch to inflict Fear and Lucky Punch for criticals. Bring items to cure Fear and Personas that resist Physical attacks, like Slime.
