Mariko Hyodo transforms into the Snow Queen for her boss battle. This fight is a test of endurance and strategic weakness exploitation.
Phase 1: Icy Embrace
The Snow Queen is initially weak to Fire and Bless. Ann (Panther) and Joker with a Bless Persona are highly effective. She will frequently use powerful Ice attacks and summon ice shards that track your movement. Dodge constantly and use Phantom Dash points to avoid damage and deal counter-attacks. She also has a move where she creates an ice shield; you must break this shield with strong attacks to continue dealing damage.
Phase 2: Frozen Fury
After taking significant damage, the Snow Queen will become more aggressive, and her attacks will cover a wider area. She will also summon powerful ice elementals. During this phase, she will occasionally create a large ice dome around herself. You must destroy the glowing ice pillars around the arena to break the dome and expose her. Continue to exploit her weaknesses, but be mindful of your SP, as this phase can be lengthy. Use healing items and support skills to keep your party alive. Her ultimate attack involves a massive ice explosion; try to get behind cover or use a powerful Showtime to interrupt it if possible.
Upon her defeat, you will obtain Mariko's Desire, completing the Sapporo Jail segment.
