Each Phantom Thief has a unique weapon type: melee weapons for close combat and guns for ranged attacks. Melee weapons typically offer higher base damage but require characters to be adjacent to the enemy. Guns allow for attacks from a distance, often with a wider range of effect or the ability to hit multiple targets. Weapons can have various stats, including Attack Power, Accuracy, and sometimes special effects like critical hit bonuses or status ailment chances. Always equip the strongest weapon available for each character. You can acquire new weapons from shops, as quest rewards, or by fusing specific Personas in the Velvet Room to unlock crafting recipes. Prioritize upgrading weapons that align with your character's primary damage type, such as a high-Attack melee weapon for Ryuji or a high-Accuracy gun for Ann.
