November

Welcome to November, Phantom Thieves! This month marks a pivotal point in your journey, focusing heavily on Sae Niijima's Palace and the unfolding conspiracy. Time management is crucial, as you'll have a strict deadline for the Palace and several key Confidant events.

General November Strategies

  • Prioritize Sae's Palace: The deadline for Sae's Palace is November 18th. Aim to complete it as early as possible to allow ample time for Mementos requests and Confidant ranks.
  • Stock Up on Healing Items: Sae's Palace can be challenging, especially the boss fight. Ensure you have a good supply of HP and SP recovery items like Soul Food, Curry, and Takemedic-All Z.
  • Fuse Strong Personas: Focus on fusing Personas with strong Bless, Curse, and Almighty skills, as these will be particularly effective in Sae's Palace. Personas like Black Frost (Fool) and Trumpeter (Aeon) are excellent choices if you have the required fusion materials.
  • Mementos Exploration: After clearing Sae's Palace, dedicate a day or two to Mementos. There will be new requests available, and it's a great opportunity to level up and gather materials.
  • Confidant Focus: With the main story progressing, certain Confidants will become unavailable or have limited availability. Prioritize those you wish to max out, especially if they offer useful battle abilities or social stat boosts.

November 1st - November 6th: Palace Preparation

The first week of November is all about getting ready for Sae's Palace. You'll have some mandatory story events, but also opportunities for free time.

Day-by-Day Breakdown:

  • November 1st (Tuesday): Story event. You'll discuss Sae's Palace.
  • November 2nd (Wednesday): Free Day. Consider visiting the Bathhouse for a Guts boost, or studying at the School Library for Knowledge. If you have any pending Mementos requests, this is a good time to tackle them before the Palace.
  • November 3rd (Thursday): Free Day. Continue building social stats or advancing Confidants. Hifumi Togo (Star) is often available at the Kanda Church and offers excellent battle benefits.
  • November 4th (Friday): Story event. You'll officially begin infiltration of Sae's Palace.
  • November 5th (Saturday): Sae's Palace Infiltration. Your goal for today is to reach the Dice Game Floor. Be mindful of the enemies here, particularly the High Pixie (weak to Gun) and Decarabia (weak to Ice).
  • November 6th (Sunday): Sae's Palace Infiltration. Continue through the Palace. Aim to reach the Treasure Room area. Remember to utilize cover and ambush enemies for an advantage.

November 7th - November 13th: Sae's Palace Infiltration

This week is dedicated to completing Sae Niijima's Palace. Be prepared for challenging puzzles and formidable Shadows.

Palace Walkthrough:

  1. Casino Entrance & Security: Upon entering, you'll need to disable the security system. Follow the linear path, defeating Shadows and collecting Security Keys.
  2. Dice Game Floor: This floor requires you to win a dice game. The trick is to observe the dealer's patterns. You'll need to bet a certain amount of Casino Chips to proceed. If you're short on chips, you can earn them by defeating Shadows or playing the slot machines (though this is less reliable).
  3. Card Game Floor: Here, you'll play a card game. Pay close attention to the rules and the opponent's tells. Winning will grant you access to the next area.
  4. Slot Machine Floor: This area is a puzzle involving slot machines. You'll need to activate specific machines in a sequence to open the path forward. Look for clues on the surrounding environment.
  5. Vault & Treasure Room: Once you reach the vault, you'll need to find the Vault Keycard. This is usually held by a powerful Shadow or hidden behind a complex puzzle. After obtaining it, you can access the Treasure Room.

Boss Strategy: Sae Niijima (Shadow Sae)

Shadow Sae is a two-phase boss fight. Equip Personas with good physical and magical defense, and consider bringing Rakshasa (Strength) for its physical prowess or Lamia (Empress) for its fire attacks.

  • Phase 1: Roulette Battle: Shadow Sae will challenge you to a roulette game. You need to bet on the correct color (red or black) to deal damage. The trick is to use Third Eye to see which color the ball will land on. Bet a small amount to confirm, then a larger amount to deal significant damage. She'll also use powerful attacks, so keep your HP up.
  • Phase 2: Direct Combat: After the roulette, she'll transform. She's weak to Bless and Curse attacks. Focus on hitting her weaknesses to trigger All-Out Attacks. Be wary of her Desperation attack, which deals heavy damage. Guard when she charges it.

November 14th - November 20th: After the Palace

With Sae's Palace conquered, you'll have a brief period of calm before the next major plot development.

  • November 18th (Friday): Deadline for Sae's Palace. If you've already sent the calling card and defeated the boss, this day will be a story event.
  • Mementos Exploration: This is an excellent time to clear any outstanding Mementos requests. New requests will likely have appeared after Sae's change of heart.
  • Confidant Catch-Up: Use this time to advance any Confidants you've been neglecting. Takemi (Death), Kawakami (Temperance), and Chihaya (Fortune) are always good choices for their utility.
  • Social Stats: If you're close to maxing out a social stat, dedicate some time to it. Reading books like The Great Thief or watching movies can be efficient ways to boost stats.

November 21st - November 30th: The Aftermath & New Threats

The latter half of November brings significant story revelations and sets the stage for the game's climax.

  • Story Progression: Expect several mandatory story events that will advance the plot dramatically. Pay close attention to the dialogue.
  • New Confidant Opportunities: Depending on your choices and progress, new Confidant ranks or even new Confidants might become available. Keep an eye on your phone for invitations.
  • Preparation for December: While you won't be entering a new Palace this month, the events of November will heavily influence the challenges of December. Ensure your Persona roster is strong and diverse, and that your party members have their best equipment.
  • Part-Time Jobs: If you need extra Yen or want to boost specific social stats, consider working at the Flower Shop or the Crossroads Bar.

November is a month of intense narrative and challenging gameplay. By carefully managing your time, prioritizing Palace completion, and strengthening your team, you'll be well-prepared for the trials that lie ahead.
