The Persona Q2 UI is designed to provide all necessary information at a glance, both in and out of combat. On the top screen during dungeon exploration, you'll see your party's current HP/SP, the current floor, and a mini-map. In combat, the top screen displays enemy information, including their HP, status ailments, and weaknesses (once discovered). The bottom screen is dedicated to your map drawing during exploration and your command selection during battles. Pay close attention to the various icons and indicators, as they often convey critical information about status effects, F.O.E. proximity, or available actions.
When navigating menus, such as the Main Menu (accessed via the B button in the field), you'll find options for Party, Items, Skills, Equipment, Compendium, Quests, System, and Save. Each of these sections is vital for managing your team, preparing for battles, and progressing through the story. Regularly checking your party's status, equipping new gear, and managing your Persona stock are all essential tasks that will be performed through these menus. The UI is streamlined, but understanding where everything is located will save you valuable time and prevent frustration.
