Material gathering is the process of collecting raw resources from the labyrinths, which are then used for equipment synthesis at the Workshop. Materials come in various rarities and types, often categorized by the dungeon they are found in or the enemy they drop from. There are three primary ways to acquire materials:

- Enemy Drops: Defeating Shadows and F.O.E.s will often yield materials. Stronger enemies and F.O.E.s tend to drop rarer and more valuable materials.
- Gathering Points: Sparkling spots on the map indicate gathering points. Interacting with these will yield a random assortment of materials specific to that dungeon. These points refresh after a certain number of steps or after leaving and re-entering the floor.
- Quest Rewards: Many side quests offer materials as rewards, sometimes including rare ones that are difficult to farm.
Once you have materials, head to the Workshop to synthesize new weapons, armor, and accessories. The synthesis menu will show you what items can be crafted with your current materials. Prioritize crafting upgrades for your main party members and any equipment that offers significant defensive bonuses or elemental resistances. Efficient material gathering and synthesis are key to keeping your party well-equipped throughout the game.
