Floor 2, 'Core Reactor', intensifies the light-dark puzzles and introduces more formidable F.O.E.s, the 'Guardians'. These F.O.E.s often have different movement patterns or vulnerabilities depending on whether they are in light or darkness. Some Guardians might only move when in darkness, while others might be invulnerable unless illuminated. You'll need to strategically use light switches to manipulate their behavior and create openings.
The puzzles here often involve multiple interconnected light switches, requiring you to plan several steps ahead. You might need to activate one switch to move a Guardian, then another to open a door, and a third to create a safe path. There will also be 'Energy Barriers' that require specific 'Keycards' to deactivate. These Keycards are usually found in chests or dropped by specific enemies. Ensure your party is well-prepared for combat, as the regular Shadows on this floor are stronger. The 'Healing Point' will appear before the final boss, so fully restore your party's resources.
