The Velvet Room is key to character power. Optimize your Personas and skills:
- Fusion Forecast: Check the Fusion Forecast in the Velvet Room. It highlights specific fusions that will result in a Persona learning an extra skill or having boosted stats. Plan your fusions around these forecasts for optimal results.
- Skill Card Farming: Some Personas naturally learn powerful skills that can be extracted as Skill Cards. Fuse these Personas, level them up until they learn the desired skill, then extract it. This allows you to teach rare skills to any Persona.
- Elemental Coverage: Ensure your party's Sub-Personas collectively cover all elemental weaknesses. This allows you to hit every enemy's weakness, maximizing Boost opportunities.
- Passive Skills: Don't underestimate passive skills like 'HP Up', 'SP Up', 'Ailment Boost', or 'Crit Rate Up'. These can significantly enhance a character's effectiveness. Use Skill Cards to fill gaps in your Personas' passive skill sets.
- Persona Compendium: Register your Personas frequently, especially after they learn new skills or gain levels. This allows you to re-summon them later at their registered state, which is useful for re-fusing or for having a backup.
