  • Lucario (Riolu): Riolu can be found early in Floccesy Ranch. It evolves into Lucario with high friendship during the day. Lucario is a powerful Fighting/Steel-type with excellent Attack and Special Attack, making it a versatile offensive threat. It's fantastic against Normal, Rock, Ice, and Dark types.
  • Magnemite (Virbank Complex): Found in the Virbank Complex, Magnemite (and its evolutions Magneton and Magnezone) are Electric/Steel-types. This typing offers numerous resistances and an immunity to Poison, making it invaluable against Poison and Flying-type Gym Leaders. Its Electric attacks are also very strong.
  • Krookodile (Sandile): Sandile can be found on Route 4. It evolves into Krokorok and then Krookodile. Krookodile is a powerful Ground/Dark-type with high Attack and Speed. It's excellent against Electric, Fire, Psychic, and Ghost types, and its Intimidate ability can lower opponents' Attack.
  • Excadrill (Drilbur): Drilbur can be found in dust clouds in caves. Excadrill is a Ground/Steel-type with incredibly high Attack and Speed, especially with its Sand Rush ability in a sandstorm. It's a fantastic physical attacker that can sweep through many opponents.
  • Zoroark (Zorua): Zorua is obtained as a gift Pokémon in Driftveil City (Black 2) or Floccesy Town (White 2) after a specific event. Zoroark is a fast and powerful Dark-type special attacker with the unique Illusion ability, allowing it to disguise itself as the last Pokémon in your party.
  • Arcanine (Growlithe - Black 2) / Electivire (Elekid - White 2): Growlithe (Black 2) is found in Virbank Complex and evolves into Arcanine with a Fire Stone. Arcanine is a fast and strong Fire-type. Elekid (White 2) is also found in Virbank Complex and evolves into Electabuzz, then Electivire (via trade with Electirizer). Electivire is a powerful Electric-type.
