- Leftovers: Restores a small amount of HP at the end of each turn. Excellent for defensive Pokémon.
- Choice Band/Choice Scarf/Choice Specs: Boosts Attack/Speed/Special Attack by 50% respectively, but locks the Pokémon into using only the first move selected. Powerful for offensive Pokémon.
- Life Orb: Boosts the power of all attacks by 30%, but the user loses 10% of its max HP after each attack.
- Expert Belt: Boosts the power of super effective moves by 20%.
- Focus Sash: If the Pokémon is at full HP, it will survive a lethal hit with 1 HP.
- Assault Vest: Boosts Special Defense by 50%, but the Pokémon can only use attacking moves.
- Eviolite: Boosts Defense and Special Defense of a Pokémon that can still evolve by 50%. Incredibly powerful for unevolved defensive Pokémon like Chansey or Porygon2.
- Black Belt/Mystic Water/Charcoal etc.: Boosts the power of a specific type of move by 20%.
- Berries (e.g., Sitrus Berry, Lum Berry): Provide various effects, such as restoring HP, curing status conditions, or reducing super effective damage.
Many held items can be found through exploration, as rewards, or purchased with Battle Points (BP) at the Pokémon World Tournament. Experiment with different items to find what works best for your team and strategy.
