The Pokémon World Tournament (PWT), located in Driftveil City, is a premier battle facility where you can challenge powerful trainers from across all regions, including Gym Leaders and Champions from previous Pokémon games. This is an excellent way to test your team's strength and earn valuable Battle Points (BP) that can be exchanged for rare items and TMs.
The PWT offers various tournaments, starting with the Driftveil Tournament. As you progress, you'll unlock more challenging cups, such as the World Leaders Tournament, where you face off against Gym Leaders from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh. The ultimate challenge is the Champions Tournament. Each tournament has specific rules, such as single battles or double battles, and a limit on the number of Pokémon you can use. Winning tournaments earns you trophies and BP, which can be spent at the shop inside the PWT building. This is a fantastic post-game activity for competitive players.
