Target Focus
In a double battle, you have the option to direct both of your Pokémon's attacks towards a single opponent. This is an incredibly effective strategy for quickly eliminating a dangerous threat. If an opponent's Pokémon is particularly strong or poses an immediate risk to your team, focusing your combined offensive power on it can prevent it from unleashing its full potential. This is especially useful against Pokémon with high offensive stats or devastating sature moves.
Spread Damage
Conversely, some moves are desed to hit multiple targets. Moves like Earthquake or Surf, when used in a double battle, will affect both of your opponent's Pokémon.
