- Bicycle: Allows for faster travel on land. Obtained in Goldenrod City.
- Itemfinder: Detects hidden items on the ground. Obtained in Vermilion City.
- Fishing Rods (Old Rod, Good Rod, Super Rod): Used to fish for Water-type Pokémon.
- Coin Case: Stores Coins for the Goldenrod Game Corner.
- SquirtBottle: Used to water the Sudowoodo on Route 36.
- SecretPotion: Used to heal the Ampharos in Olivine Lighthouse.
- Card Key: Opens doors in the Radio Tower.
- Basement Key: Opens the Goldenrod Tunnel.
- Clear Bell: Required to summon Suicune at the Tin Tower.
- Rainbow Wing: Required to summon Ho-Oh at the Tin Tower (if you have the Silver Wing from Kanto).
- Silver Wing: Required to summon Lugia at the Whirl Islands.
- Exp. Share: Distributes experience to all Pokémon in your party, even if they didn't battle. Obtained from Mr. Pokémon after delivering the Red Scale.
