From Hearthome City, head east onto Route 212. This route is split into two distinct sections: a northern, drier part and a southern, marshy part. The marshy area requires you to navigate through mud and tall grass, which can slow you down. There are many trainers on this route, including some in the Pokémon Mansion. Continue east until you reach Pastoria City. In Pastoria City, you'll find the Great Marsh, a Safari Zone-like area where you can catch rare Pokémon. You'll also encounter Crasher Wake, the Gym Leader, who will ask you to help him with Team Galactic. Head to the north-east of Pastoria City to find a Team Galactic Grunt.
